# Logging in

> How to create your Korp account and sign in at app.korp.ph, what to do when a sign-in fails, and how to give your team access.

Your company's workspace lives at [app.korp.ph](https://app.korp.ph). There are no passwords: you sign in with Google or with a one-time code sent to your email.

## Creating your account

You don't need a separate sign-up. The first time you sign in, Korp creates your account and a workspace for your company.

- **Starting a new company?** Begin at [app.korp.ph/start](https://app.korp.ph/start). Under **Set up your Philippine company**, enter your name, email and phone number, then **Continue**. We send a code to your email; once you enter it, you go straight into setting up your company.
- **Invited by a teammate?** Open the invitation email and click **Accept invitation** — see [Joining a team](#joining-a-team) below.
- **Otherwise,** go to [app.korp.ph/login](https://app.korp.ph/login) and sign in as described below.

After your first sign-in you'll receive a **Welcome to Korp** email with a link back to your dashboard.

## Signing in

Go to [app.korp.ph/login](https://app.korp.ph/login). The page reads **Sign in or create your Korp account** and offers two ways in.

### With Google

Click **Sign in with Google** and choose your Google account. Use the account whose email address your Korp workspace was set up with.

### With an email code

1. Click **Sign in with Email**, enter your email address and click **Continue**.
2. Check your inbox for **Your Korp sign-in code**.
3. Enter the 6-digit code under **Verify your login**. It submits on its own once all six digits are in.

Once you're in, you land on your dashboard. To sign out, open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar and choose **Sign out**.

## If a sign-in fails

- **The code didn't arrive.** Check your spam or promotions folder, and that you typed the address correctly. You can click **Resend code** after a short wait; the button shows a countdown until then.
- **The code is rejected.** Codes can only be used once and expire after a while. Request a new one with **Resend code** and use the latest code you received.
- **Google sign-in failed.** Try again, or sign in with an email code using the same email address instead.
- **You can't access that email address any more.** Click **I no longer have access to this email address** to enter a different one. To move your workspace to a new address, ask an owner or admin of your workspace to invite it (see below), or contact us.
- **Still stuck?** Click **Having trouble signing in? Contact support**, or email [support@korp.ph](mailto:support@korp.ph).

## Giving your team access

A workspace can have several people signing in. Workspace members are the people who use Korp for your company — they are separate from your company's directors and shareholders, who are recorded in your incorporation details.

Each member has a role:

| Role | What they can do |
| --- | --- |
| **Owner** | Full control, including ownership and deleting the workspace. A workspace always keeps at least one owner. |
| **Admin** | Invite, remove and change the role of teammates. |
| **Member** | See and work on the workspace's requests. |

### Inviting a teammate

Owners and admins can invite people:

1. Open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar and choose **Organisation**.
2. Under **Invite a teammate**, enter their email address, pick a role and click **Create invitation**.

They receive an email with an **Accept invitation** button. Pending invitations are listed under **Invited**, where you can **Resend** or **Withdraw** them. If the email doesn't go through, you'll get a link to send them yourself. Only an owner can invite or promote another owner. Members who aren't owners or admins can ask one to send the invitation.

### Joining a team

Open the invitation email and click **Accept invitation**. If you're not signed in yet, the button reads **Sign in as** your email address and takes you through sign-in first.

An invitation can only be accepted by the email address it was sent to, and it expires after 14 days. If it has expired, been withdrawn, or was sent to a different address, ask the person who invited you to send a new one.

To leave a workspace, go to **Organisation** and choose **Leave**.
